This year, Oakland Promise is awarding a total of 1,100 scholarships totalling $4.2M to Oakland’s high school graduating class of 2024 and we would love to have you join us! We are seeking volunteers to help us honor and celebrate our students and their families.
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts, 10 10th St, Oakland, CA 94607. Volunteers can sign up for one or multiple two-hour volunteer shifts available from 10:00AM and 9:00PM. Light beverages and snacks will be provided for all volunteers and dinner will be provided for volunteers who participate in two or more shifts.
Volunteers will be able to choose their role/assignment in the sign-up form and will be trained on how to perform their roles when they arrive on the day of the event.
