The number of ways an Oakland Promise Mentor can support a Scholar are as varied as the number of Mentors involved in our program. A successful mentoring relationship is built on trust. It's made up of small, consistent and genuine moments -- listening, asking questions and relating with empathy. And our program will support you and your Scholar every step of the way.
