Oakland Promise works beyond direct services to address the systems that shape educational opportunity. Through partnerships with local, state, and national coalitions, we advocate for policies that expand college access, affordability, and student success. As a founding member and steering committee participant in the Northern California College Promise Coalition, a member of the California Cradle-to-Career Coalition, and an active partner in national networks like StriveTogether, Oakland Promise helps advance legislation and public investment that reduce barriers to higher education and strengthen cradle-to-career supports.
